The great plastic bag protest of 2009?
Terry Cowgill has a great suggestion on his Northwest Corner blog today on how to protest the Legislature's proposed 5 cent deposit on plastic grocery store bags.

Thanks for the shout-out.
Actually, the General Assembly is proposing a TAX on the bags. A refundable deposit similar to those we plunk down on bottles and cans would be less objectionable, IMHO.
Well I'm glad that in my haste I made that mistake, because it brings the point about how ridiculous this is even more!
