Still Only 50 Cents

Over the past year, we are pleased to have had the opportunity to expand what The Register Citizen offers to its readers, doubling the amount of space devoted to local news, doubling the space devoted to local opinion, adding local history features, more community news, and feature columnists including Litchfield County journalism legend Owen Canfield and the "Garden Goddess," Gwenythe Harvey of Litchfield.
Over the coming year, we plan to continue that expansion, and in fact, will be adding a LOCAL crossword puzzle and a LOCAL word search 7 days a week, starting this Sunday.
At the same time, and while other daily newspapers in this area are cutting back on sections, columns and local news coverage, we remain the only daily newspaper in Northwest Connecticut still charging only 50 cents at the newsstand. And our home delivery price is less expensive as well.
If it's been a while since you've been a regular reader of the print edition of The Register Citizen, why not give it another shot? CLICK HERE for a list of stores and vending machines that sell The Register Citizen, or CLICK HERE for information on becoming a home delivery subscriber.
